Cheese is a unique collection of bizarre and unforgiving comedy with a fast and loose structure. Cheese is sketch and improvisation molded together. Every week the performers create new and outrageous ideas they will improvise around, mixed in with a series of scripted scenes. Which scenes are scripted? Which scenes are not? You may never know, but it doesn’t matter because it’s all cheese.
Taking inspiration from Monty Python’s Flying Circus, The Kids in the Hall and Mr. Show, CHEESE opts for absurdist comedy over pop culture jokes and major story lines. Each week the performance will open with a different stand-up comedy act. Cheese is fresh. Cheese is naughty. Cheese is intended for mature audiences.
